A few weeks ago, it was reported that the Broncos were the frontrunners to land surprising free agent Shaun Alexander. Now that those rumors have cooled off, they decided to turn their attention to other available running backs. Today the Broncos have added former Buc Michael Pittman.

He figures to add depth to a shaky backfield. Starter Travis Henry’s progression is coming along slowly as he is recovering from hamstring surgery this offseason. Selvin Young figures to be the #2 and eventual starter, though there are questions about his durability as the featured back.
