Redskins trade for injured DE Erasmus James

Erasmus James, a former 1st round pick, was cut last Friday. Today he has a new home. The Vikings and Redskins reached a deal that will send the oft-injured defensive end to Redskins for the Vikings conditional 2009 7th round draft pick. James has to make the final roster in order for the Vikings to receieve the draft pick, though.

Once thought to be a dominant DE coming out of college, James had a run-in with the injury bug and missed 24 games over the past 2 seasons.

Who says Daniel Snyder doesn’t look under every rock?
