Jeff Garcia walking away from the NFL?

Could there be trouble brewing in Tampa Bay?

NFL Network’s inside man, Adam Schefter, reported that Jeff Garcia, in an interview with Sirius NFL Radio, threatened to walk away from the game due to his displeasure with his current contract.

He said that he will think what his alternate options may be and it ultimately may come to him not playing football. He also claims that he’s “being taken advantage of”.

While it’s doubtful that Garcia does indeed leave the game altogether, the Bucs better hope he doesn’t, especially after they released Bruce Gradkowski. Currently, the Bucs backups at the QB position include Chris Simms, Luke McCown, Brian Griese, and rookie Josh Johnson. Certainly not something to keep opposing defensive coordinators up at night.
