Even though the Jaguars drafted Derrick Harvey and Quentin Groves, two pass rushers, in this year’s
draft, DE Paul Spicer still has a future with the team. John Clayton, of ESPN.com, reports that the Jags and Spicer have agreed to a 2 year/$8 million contract extension that will keep him with the team thru 2010. Spicer has 18 sacks over the past 3 seasons in Jacksonville.
The 33 year old Spicer now intends to finish his career with the Jaguars.
