Former Bills, Eagles, Browns, and most recently, Vikings, QB Kelly Holcomb has decided to retire after 13 seasons in the NFL, the Nashville Tennessean reports. After a so-so career with 39 career TD’s and 38 INT’s, Holcomb will join Middle Tennessee State’s, his Alma mater, game day radio crew. He will serve as a sideline reporter. He will also be inducted into MTSU’s Hall Of Fame.

Holcomb’s probably most known for his ridiculous 2003 Wild Card game performance against the Steelers. Throwing for 429 yards, he became the 3rd QB in playoff history to throw for more than 400 yards. He ended up losing the game, however.

Seems like it’s been awhile since I hit you guys with some news. With training camp approaching in a couple weeks, the slow news days should slowly decrease. Just think, less than a month until live NFL action, albeit preseason. More to come!
