A second suspect has been arrested in the case of Oakland WR Javon Walker, who was found beaten and robbed in Las Vegas last month. Deshawn Thomas has been charged with kidnapping, robbery, and beating which caused substantial bodily harm. He was arrested yesterday and is being held without bail in a Las Vegas jail. A couple weeks ago, police arrested the first suspect in the case, Arfat Fadel, who has his first preliminary hearing on July 16th.
In the attack, Walker suffered a fractured orbital bone and a broken jaw, and a concussion, as well as having about $3,000 and $100,000 worth of jewelery stolen from him. Walker was released from the Broncos and signed a six year, $55 million deal with the Raiders early this offseason.
