A week after a mistrial was declared in Chris Henry’s pending assault case, a retrial will be held next week to determine if Henry is guilty of assaulting an 18 year old. The retrial will begin on July 14, and the jury hopes to come to a conclusive verdict this time.
Henry was suspended indefinitely by the league, and while winning this trial probably won’t automatically grant him reinstatement, there is speculation that he could return with another team in 2008 if he’s found not guilty.
