After recovering from injury, subsequently getting cut, and a public workout, Kevin Jones has finally found his new home.
The ex-Detroit Lions RB has agreed to a one-year deal with the Chicago Bears. The financial terms of the deal are unknown at this time.
Jones figures to split carries, assuming he’s ready for week one, with rookie Matt Forte, the heavy favorite to start. The Bears needed depth at the running back position after they released Cedric Benson earlier this off-season.
