After reporting earlier that Washington has begun trade talks with the Dolphins for Jason Taylor, ESPN’s John Clayton now says that the Detroit Lions are talking with Miami for the Pro Bowl defensive end.
Detroit has a need for a play maker on the defensive line after DT Shaun Rogers bolted for Cleveland earlier this off-season and Taylor is just that. He’d hit in their scheme perfectly, and like Washington, makes a lot of sense if they were to acquire him. We’ll be sure to keep you updated on any news surrounding Jason Taylor’s possible trade.
