Phillip Daniels out for the year

The Redskins have suffered a big blow to their defense and defensive line, specifically. DE Phillip Daniels, one of the D’s leaders and best pass-rushers, has suffered a knee injury that will force him to miss the entire 2008 campaign. It is not confirmed, but there is speculation that Phillips tore his ACL. Either way, he’s done for 2008. Being that he’s 35, and will probably require surgery to repair the damage, this could end his career.
