After a whole off-season of expressing his dis-interest with the team, the Bears and Brian Urlacher have agreed to a revised contract that payed him $6 million to sign and one that will give him a $1 million bump in salary for the next four seasons. This revised contract will keep Urlacher in Chicago thru the 2012 season.
In total, the numbers work out to $43.5 million over five years with $18 million in new money. This should keep the All-Pro middle linebacker happy for the conceivable future.
