Pats sign LaMont Jordan

in New England Patriots

One day after being released by the Raiders, RB LaMont Jordan hasĀ found a new home with the New England Patriots. According to Adam Schefter of NFL Network, the Pats have inked Jordan, who will provide depth to a shaky RB core. With Maroney’s inconsistency and Sammy Morris’ health in question, Jordan comes as a cheap, but servicable vet.

Though there have been questions about Jordan’s passion and attitude, he won’t be able to slack under the watch of coach Belichick. Jordan, the former New York Jet, will look forward to facing them twice this year.
