Could Brady’s injury linger into 2009?

According to the Boston Globe, Tom Brady’s reconstructive to repair his torn ACL will be delayed 4-6 while they wait for his MCL, which was also torn, to heal. Apparently, there’s too much swelling taking place from the MCL for the ACL surgery to be effective.

The recovery time was already 6-9 months from when the procedure is done, so adding on 4-6 weeks could make him questionable for the start of training camp next season.

Long road ahead for Belichick and Co.
