Oddly enough, there was no change in the NFC’s 6 teams this week. They rearranged a little, but still the same 6 as in Week 2. Mostly the same in the AFC, but we saw the Steelers drop out, the Chargers move up, and the Colts and Ravens switch places.
AFC
1.
New York Jets (3-0) - AFC East champs. 1st seed over Broncos due to the best combined ranking among conference teams in points scored and points allowed tiebreaker.
2.
Denver Broncos (3-0) - AFC West champs. 2nd seed over Colts due to the strength of victory tiebreaker.
3.
Indianapolis Colts (3-0) - AFC South champs. 3rd seed over Ravens due to the best combined ranking among conference teams in points scored and points allowed tiebreaker.
4.
Baltimore Ravens (3-0) - AFC North champs.
5.
San Diego Chargers (2-1) - 5th seed over Patriots due to a better record in conference games.
6.
New England Patriots (2-1) – 6th seed over Bengals due to the best combined ranking among conference teams in points scored and points allowed tiebreaker.
Just missed: Bengals. Cannot believe I just typed that.
