The Superbowl is next Sunday and the Colts could be without their best pass-rusher.
According to Adam Schefter, Indy’s All-Pro defensive end has a torn ligament in his right ankle that puts his status in serious doubt for Superbowl 44. Schefter points out this makes it difficult for him to play, if he plays at all.
This obviously would affect Indianapolis’ chances because getting pressure on Saints QB Drew Brees will be one of the biggest keys to victory if Peyton and Co. want to hoist the Lombardi Trophy. This is a situation to watch in the next week’s lead-up to the big game.
