See that? That gesture has officially made Jets coach Rex Ryan’s wallet lighter. That would be $50,000 lighter.
The Jets organization fined Ryan for the move he called “stupid and inappropriate” and what Jets GM Mike Tannenbaum called “disappointing” but also said they would handle it internally.
If you don’t know the story by now. (Presumably) while down in Miami for the Pro Bowl, Ryan attended an MMA fight and during a TV interview proclaimed to the crowd full of Dolphin fans that he and his Jets would beat them twice next season.
