Vikings OK with Favre taking his time

Apparently Vikings coach Brad Childress doesn’t mind/care about the yearly agonizing process of Favre Watch – a several month ordeal of Brett Favre’s NFL intentions. To play or not to play? That’s the question…and Childress is OK with waiting for an answer from the future Hall Of Fame gunslinger.

Speaking at the combine in Indy today, Childress said Favre is still healing from the beating he took in the NFC Championship game and that the conversations they’ve had together recently have not been primarily about football – but about landscaping, as Favre’s putting down limestone for his mother in law’s house.

Even Favre’s agent, Bus Cook, has “no idea” what his client will do and added that “he’s not even thinking about it”.

Guess we’ll all be digging in for another off-season of Favre Watch. Ugh.
