Browns and Josh Cribbs agree on new three-year deal

It looked like it would happen. Then it fell through and the sides were at an impasse. Now it’s finally happened.

The Cleveland Browns and KR Josh Cribbs have finally consummated a new three-year, $20 million contract – including $7.5 million guaranteed.

It might seem like a lot of cash to pay a kick returner but Cribbs is the focal point of that Browns dismal offense and he plays almost every position there: Wildcat QB, RB, WR, along with his usual kick return duties.
