You step out for a couple of hours and you miss the big news of the day (aside from Peppers and Boldin, of course).

LB Karlos Dansby from the Arizona Cardinals has agreed to a five year deal with the Miami Dolphins. NFL Network’s Steve Wyche posted on his twitter that the contract is worth $43 million – with $22 million of that guaranteed.

Dansby, considered by many to be the best free-agent linebacker on the market, got the payday that he wanted; one that wouldn’t have come from ‘Zona. In preparation for this move, the Fins released LB’s Joey Porter and Akin Ayodele. Dansby is an upgrade over both though Miami over a little bit. But who doesn’t in free-agency now-a-days?
