I (via Adam S.) mentioned last night that Texans CB Dunta Robinson would be meeting with the Falcons today and a deal was expected to be signed, sealed, and delivered.
Well, according to Schefter, the deal has been signed, now that’s just left is the sealed and delivered part.
Robinson and the Falcons have come together on a six-year pact that will bring Robinson back to his home state. Terms haven’t been released yet but knowing how Schefter works they should come out soon enough.
Robinson is a CB who has his up’s and downs, taking chances and getting burnt for some of them, but he instantly improves Atlanta’s secondary, which was near awful last season. As long as the Falcons didn’t overpay (too much), this is a solid move.
