Two blown out ACL’s in recent years haven’t stopped the Eagles from making a play on free-agent DB Marlin Jackson.
The former Colt agreed to a two-year deal with Philadelphia today, Adam Schefter of ESPN confirmed on Twitter.
Jackson is versatile in that he can play cornerback or safety, and the Eagles envision him as the latter. While those aforementioned ACL injuries are two giant cautions, Jackson has stated he’s on pace with his rehab and will be good to go this upcoming season. If he holds up, this was a great signing for Philadelphia.
