Jake Delhomme could be going back home.
NFL Network’s Jason La Confora tweeted that the free-agent QB, and Louisiana native, is scheduled to meet with the New Orleans Saints today and tomorrow. Delhomme is currently in Cleveland for a scheduled meet with the Browns staff.
With his starting days in the rear-view mirror, the former Carolina Panther will focus on becoming a solid no.2 option and being the backup to Drew Brees, on championship squad, wouldn’t be too bad. This would be his ideal landing spot and I think he strikes a deal in ‘Nawlins should he leave Cleveland without signing on the dotted line.
