Today, free-agent RB LaDainian Tomlinson is visiting with the Minnesota Vikings.
If he makes it out of Minnesota without signing a contract, LT is due to meet with the New York Jets brass on Friday, according to Adam Schefter.
This is pretty surprising on the Jets part; they recently release a 32-year old back, coming off a career year, a move that was much maligned in the locker-room, and they’re now visiting with a 30-year old running back that looks like his starting days are behind him? It could be Jets GM Mike Tannenbaum doing his due diligence, or there could be something happening here (provided Tomlinson DOES make it to NY).
