J Peezy has landed himself a pretty little payday.
Free-agent LB Joey Porter has signed a three-year contract with the Cardinals worth $17.5 million that has a max value of $24.5 million.
Lots of coin for the 33-year old. Surprising because Zona’s chose to be frugal this off-season, which saw them part ways with S Antrel Rolle and LB Karlos Dansby, who signed with Miami presumably as Porter’s replacement. Ironic, huh?
This was Porter’s ideal landing spot all along. He made it clear before he was released by the Dolphins that his preference is to play out west and with his former coaches that have migrated to the Cardinals.
