It took a little while, but file this one under: no-brainer.
The Chargers signed free-agent cornerback Nathan Vasher to a two-year deal that’s worth “about $4.5 million“.
I say ‘no-brainer’ because Vasher will be re-united with his old defensive boss in Chicago, Ron Rivera, as he’s working in the same capacity now for San Diego. They’re also the team that expressed the most interest in the 28-year old after he was released. It was the perfect match waiting to happen.
Vasher will push Donald Strickland, who signed with the Bolts earlier this month, for nickel back duties.
