in Detroit Lions, Seattle Seahawks

In a move that’s been discussed for the last few weeks, guard Rob Sims is headed to Motown.

NFL.com’s Jason La Confora reports the Detroit Lions have agreed to a trade that sends a fifth-round draft choice and defensive end Robert Henderson to Seattle in exchange for Sims and a seventh-round pick.

Sims, the Ohio State product, is a nice pickup for the Lions. He offers youth (only 26-years old) and good size (6’3, 312 lbs). Good move by Jim Schwartz and Co.
