in Denver Broncos, Seattle Seahawks

Santonio Holmes might not be the only receiver on the move this week.

NFL.com’s Jason La Canfora tweeted that the Seattle Seahawks still have interest in acquiring disgruntled Broncos wide receiver Brandon Marshall via trade. La Canfora speculates that talks could heat up this week between both parties.

As you may or may not know, Marshall has been linked to Seattle since the off-season began, as the ‘Hawks were considering signing the restricted free-agent and surrendering a first-round draft pick (no.6 overall). Steep price to pay for a problem child who wants upwards of $10 million/year. If they’re serious about trading for him, they could work out other compensation with Denver, possibly a combination of picks/future picks and a player (or two).
