in Jacksonville Jaguars, Oakland Raiders, Seattle Seahawks, Tennessee Titans

You oversleep just a little bit and you miss all the news. There has been two trades this morning.

  • The first, between the Seahawks and Titans, includes running back LenDale White and defensive tackle Kevin Vickerson, who both were sent to Seattle in exchange for a swap of fourth and six-round picks. White is very familiar with coach Pete Carroll from their days at USC together, and he should be used to control the clock and at the goal-line; complimenting Justin Forsett quite well. Guess this means no Marshawn Lynch to Seattle.
  • Then middle linebacker Kirk Morrison was acquired by the Jaguars from the Oakland Raiders, who received Jacksonville’s pick at No. 108 overall. This is a deal that benefits both sides; the Jaguars have been seeking an inside linebacker and the Raiders drafted ILB Rolando McClain with their first-round pick, making Morrision expendable.

Much more to come from Day 3 of the 2010 NFL draft.
