C.C. Brown
Detroit’s collection of defensive backs continues.
The Lions and safety C.C. Brown have agreed to a deal today. The years, or terms, haven’t been announced as of yet. I’m guessing it’s for one season and nothing more than $1.5 million. That’s just a wild guess, though.
Brown, who spent last season with the Giants, is a viable defender against the run. Conversely, he was absolutely dreadful in coverage.
Still only 27-years old, Brown, if anything, will add depth to a defense that can’t get enough of it.
