Brian Cushing before and after steroid use

See, kids, this is why ‘roids are bad.

Following LB Brian Cushing’s four-game suspension for steroids, his Defensive Rookie of The Year title may be taken from him.

According to AP member Dave Goldberg, who happens to vote on the Rookie of the Year awards, there may be a re-vote held for the Defensive Rookie of The Year. Though Goldberg warns that a decision won’t be announced for “a few days“, there seems to be a legit chance Cushing loses the honor.

Other candidates for the award include Bills safety Jairus Byrd, Packers linebacker Clay Matthews, and Redskins defensive end Brian Orakpo.
