NFL superagent Tom Condon
One of the NFL’s legendary agents has had a big day today.
Tom Condon, and his agency CAA Sports, has been hired by Titans quarterback Vince Young and fired by Chargers linebacker Shawne Merriman.
Young, who enters a contract year in 2011, switched to Condon from Major Adams in hopes of possibly landing a long-term extension after this season. Merriman wants the same — a long term deal — but having failed to land one, he has decided to find new representatives.
Condon currently represents over 75 NFL players, and top draft prospects like Rams QB Sam Bradford. Some of Condon’s extraordinary client list has included LaDainian Tomlinson, Marvin Harrison, Eli Manning, Chad Pennington, and Peyton Manning, among many others.
