Finally, news out of Houston that doesn’t have to do with Brian Cushing. Or does it?

Outside linebacker Danny Clark has agreed to terms on a contract with the Texans today, according to beat writer John McClain.

The 10-year veteran was drafted by the Jaguars in 2000, then went on to play for the Raiders (’04-’05), Saints (’06), Texans (’07), and most recently the Giants (’08-’09).

Clark was possibly brought on board — in a rotational role — to replace Cushing for the first four weeks. Clark provides familiarity with the system and leadership on a fairly young defense.
