Make this the fourth disgruntled player in the last 24 hours.
Jaguars cornerback Rashean Mathis is skipping the team’s voluntary OTAs (much like another player in the AFC South) because he is unhappy with his contract and would like a new deal. Tough luck, because coach Jack Del Rio says that’s not happening, as there have been no contract talks.
Entering the season at 30-years old, and rarely healthy, Mathis’ spot on the depth chart could be overtaken by someone more capable (see: Cox, Derek).
Mathis is currently under contract thru 2011.
