NFL.com’s Jason La Canfora stated today that free-agent offensive lineman Flozell Adams recently paid a visit to Denver, and maintains that Adams is continuing to talk with several other teams.
I hinted at this possible marriage when the news of Ryan Clady’s patella injury surfaced. But, enough patting myself on the back (for one day).
Considering that Clady, the Broncos starting left tackle, and right tackle Ryan Harris both are recovering from injuries, Adams could be brought aboard to give that offensive line some veteran depth and to protect the Broncos in case either Clady or Harris suffers a setback.
Adams was released by the Dallas Cowboys on April 2.
