Leroy Hill

Much like Johnny Jolly earlier today, Leroy Hill has been suspended by the NFL. Only difference is Hill’s league-imposed vacation will be much, much shorter than Jolly’s.

According to Danny O’Neil of the Seattle Times, Seahawks linebacker Leroy Hill has been suspended one game for violating the league’s substance abuse policy.

Hill is lucky to miss only one game; he’s often gotten in trouble with the law, including most recently in April when he was arrested for allegedly beating up his girlfriend.

His suspension officially kicks in on September 4, after which he won’t be able to rejoin the team until after their opening game against the 49ers on September 12. He will also be fined an additional game check.
