Roger Goodell’s ban-hammer won’t come down on the Bengals’ starting runningback.
According to ESPN, Cedric Benson will not be suspended for his June altercation in a Texas bar. Benson allegedly punched an employee of the bar, which led to his arrest on assault charges.
Benson met with commissioner Goodell last week and it looks as if whatever he said worked well for him.
