The draft’s 22nd overall pick is now officially under contract.
Per Lindsay Jones of The Denver Post, the Broncos have agreed to terms with wide receiver Demaryius Thomas on a five-year, $15.5 million contract which includes $9.35 million guaranteed. The actual value of the deal is $12.155 million but escalators could bump it up significantly.
After Thomas missed the first four practices of camp, he signed in time to participate in the first full-squad practice on Sunday. The speed demon from Georgia Tech will add another dynamic to Josh McDaniels’ offense.
He’s said to be in full health after suffering a broken left foot in February.
