What an up and (mostly) down year for running back LenDale White. After being signed and released by Pete Carroll and the Seattle Seahawks, White latched onto the Broncos roster. Then he found out he was suspended for the first four games of the regular season. Now he won’t be seeing any regular season action at all.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter is reporting that White tore his Achilles tendon in last night’s preseason game and is out for the year.
While Denver didn’t expect much from him this season, this could mark the end of White’s career, even at age 25. This injury is almost a death blow to a back and his immaturity problems are still holding him back.
Expect him to be placed on IR shortly.
