Peyton Manning might’ve lost his favorite target.
Per ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Colts tight end Dallas Clark is “out indefinitely” with a hand/wrist injury that he apparently suffered in last Sunday’s win over the Redskins. Though Clark will attain a second and even third opinion, the outlook isn’t looking good.
Even though it’s too soon to officially say he’s done for 2010, Indianapolis re-signed Gijon Robinson to possibly take over his role as the underneath option in the offense.
If this is truly the worst case scenario for Clark, then WR’s Reggie Wayne and Austin Collie will likely receive more looks from Manning. We should know more as the day/week progresses.
