Michael Vick has reassumed his role as the Eagles’ starting quarterback.
According to Geoff Mosher of The Sporting News, coach Andy Reid has announced that Vick will be his starter in Week 9 against the Colts. Philadelphia has their bye in Week 8.
He will take over for an inconsistent Kolb, who passed for 248 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions in the Eagles’ blowout loss to the Titans today.
Obviously, Vick adds more of a playmaking dynamic to a Philly offense that is without their explosive receiver DeSean Jackson. The team will need all the help it can get as their Week 9 affair will likely be a high-scoring one.
