Randy Moss

Randy Moss finally has a new home. Vince Young has a new toy to throw to, while Jeff Fisher has a new headcase to deal with.

Moss has been awarded to the Tennessee Titans off of waivers, ending the speculation of what could’ve been the most talked about midseason free agent in NFL history. After all of that, likely destinations – the Rams, Raiders, Dolphins, Redskins – passed on the opportunity to acquire Moss, leaving him to the 5-2 Titans.

Moss’ acquisition means receivers Kenny Britt and Nate Washington will get pushed down the depth chart as the team finally adds a downfield threat for offensive coordinator Mike Heimerdinger. This also adds to running back Chris Johnson’s value as opposing defenses will respect the Titan’s ability to stretch the field, keeping eight men out of the box and giving CJ2K more room to run.

Tennessee is on a bye this week so Moss will make his debut in Week 10 against the Dolphins.

Obviously this story is very fresh so we’ll bring you more information as it becomes available.
