It’s looking like there will be only two potential destinations for Ahmad Bradshaw when free agency begins.
According to the Bergen Record, Bradshaw made an appearance on 560 WQAM in Miami on Thursday afternoon and conveyed mixed feelings when asked who he’d like to play for this season.
The former Giants bruiser said there’s a “75% chance” he’ll return to Big Blue — who he believes has “the upper hand” — but also expressed interest in playing for the Dolphins.
Although Bradshaw considers Giants coach Tom Coughlin a “great guy”, he bluntly stated that there would be no hometown discount when choosing his next contract.
“It’s all in the Giants hands,” he said. “…It’s all about business. It’s a business.” “They know I’m not going to go for nothing less.”
The Miami connection is logical, yet unsurprising. Last Sunday, Bradshaw’s agent, Drew Rosenhaus, floated the possibility that his client could end up a Dolphin.
With the ‘Fins expected to be in the market for a veteran back, Bradshaw ending up in South Beach is a possibility that should not be discounted.
“With Coach Sparano, I’d like to come to Miami and play for him any time,” he said.
