Giants 2 (46): DT Linval Joseph

April 23, 2010

Big Blue was up with the 46th pick and took one of my favorite prospects: DT Linval Joseph from East Carolina. A monster defensive lineman at 325 lbs, his main quality is his strength. He can totally dominate the trenches and control the line of scrimmage. Giants have had a good draft so far – [...]

New York Giants No. 15: DE Jason Pierre-Paul

April 22, 2010

Finally a straight-up pick. With their fifteenth overall pick, the Giants nab one of my personal favorites: DE Jason Pierre-Paul from USF. In the 2009 season, he finished with 16.5 tackles for loss and 6.5 sacks. Natural pass-rusher who has long arms and can get after the quarterback. Has speed, power, the whole package. I [...]

Giants bring back punter Jeff Feagles

April 1, 2010

2010 will be the 23rd season in the NFL for punter Jeff Feagles, and he will spend it as a member of Big Blue. The New York Giants have re-signed the 44-year old Feagles to a new contract today. Despite recently being locked in contract negotiations, and bringing in Jy Bond as competition, the job [...]

Giants land Antrel Rolle

March 6, 2010

Day 1 of 2010 free-agency is officially in the books… and we saw a wild one. Lots of activity, with major movement pretty much all-day long. This was the last of the big one’s. It took a little while, and it was rumored to happen hours before it did, but the New York Giants have [...]

Rumor: Antrel Rolle to sign with Giants

March 5, 2010

Fanhouse.com is reporting that free-agent safety Antrel Rolle is on the verge of signing with the New York Giants. Rolle has been linked to the Bears, Dolphins, and now the Giants since free agency opened up and it’s surprising Rolle didn’t sign with Miami given all the connections he has to the city. Giants beat [...]

Jeremy Shockey traded to the Saints

July 21, 2008

Jay Glazer of Fox Sports is reporting that disgruntled Giants TE Jeremy Shockey has gotten his wish, and has been traded to the New Orleans Saints for second and fifth round picks in 2009. The deal is pending the league’s approval and Shockey passing a physical. More to come…

Ahmad Bradshaw released from jail

July 14, 2008

Giants RB Ahmad Bradshaw was released from jail today after a 30 day stay behind bars for an unknown violation of his probation. While the details of his case aren’t known for sure, his lawyer mentioned Bradshaw committed this offense when he was a juvenile. The league is reviewing Bradshaw’s case to determine if he violated [...]

Giants announce PSL plans

June 26, 2008

Turns out I was lying before when I said the Giants news extravaganza was over. In addition to the news of Jacob’s soon-to be contract extension and Shockey’s security with the team, the team also released their PSL plan for their next co-hosted stadium, due to open in 2010. According to the Newark Star Ledger, [...]
