Dumb move IMO. So when are we going to let a head coach learn on the job a little? Del Rio, I can see. I even understand if the Eagles fire Reid more than this move.
You know what happens when you challenge Fanof? You lose.

It's one thing if they're young and learning, like Raheem Morris. Haley reportedly had a lot of friction with Pioli... that's not inexperience, that's an inability to work well together. That doesn't get fixed with time.

This. Plus the guy loses 2 huge pieces in the first 2 weeks of the season and now has to rely on Tyler fucking Palko. I can assume Pioli is next?

rumors are swirling that Sparano is to be revoked after the season (shocker I know) but that Jeff Ireland may be kept.

plus there was the whole training camp fiasco...even before some key names started dropping like flies they looked awful...you can't start a season in an 0-3 hole and really expect to recover. I mean if the schedule is unkind what can you do?...but they didn't even show up for those games.

Doody texted me with this and it has me wide awake now. Good job, Pioli. Haley was overrated anyway. The problem is that he's probably get McToolShed in there now. Sorry Chiefs fans. It isn't going to get any better in the immediate future.

I would've waited another season. C'mon, you can only do so much with Tyler Palko, Jackie Battle, and whatever safety they plugged in for Berry

That was one scenario the talking heads on ESPN were debating. It makes perfect sense. After all, he did such a great job in Denver.

But to his defense, wasn't it a unique offseason to prepare for?

Was it unique enough that he bolted from a preseason game early to go see a Lil' Wayne concert?

Well,.. you know winning would have put a band-aid on that.
