For the Eagles, I think DeSean Jackson is way overvalued. He's a great playmaker but an above average WR. People always say how we can't afford to let D-Jax go. Well, we made it to the Superbowl and three NFC Championship games prior without him, he's not essential to the Eagles winning it all.

Outside the Eagles I'll have to go with Cedric Benson. Guy has been averaging less than 4 yards a carry for awhile. You're going to break 1000k yards if you're given the ball X amount of times.

while I see your point overall, really?

when "you" have had over 50% roster turnover since the most recent of those appearances I dont think you can claim them anymore as relevant to the current situation

Panthers - Jordan Gross. Solid LT but he often gets a bump in the media the last few years of being a lot better than he is. Also, the fact there haven't been tons of standout LTs in the NFC of late has aided in solid play getting pimped as better play.

Rest of the league - Roddy White. He gets a crap-ton of targets so he will get his but the dude simply isn't what some were billing him to be.

I was thinking that same thing.

"The Pats have won 3 Super Bowls without Wes Welker and Rob Gronkowski. They aren't that important."

true, but to be honest if I talk heavily about AFC teams not named NE or Pitt (I am simply talking out of my ass b/c I frankly don't watch them).

I watch a lot of NFCS football. Yes, I may hate them but I can tell you who the good and underrated NFCS fat faggots are as well.

Good Lord, you just gotta hatt on White!

If anyone on Atlanta is overrated (and of course, we knew you were going to go with a player off the Falcons), it's Matty Ice. That's above, far, and beyond the most overrated player on the Falcons.

My pick...Jon Beason. I won't say any names, but I remember a particular Panthers' fan putting him in the same sentence as Ray Lewis. Sure guy.

How is Matty Ice overrated when most recognize he is an overhyped noodle armed homo?

Beason is on par with CURRENT day Ray Lewis. But yeah, I can now get on board with that. Beason is a very good LB but the talk was he was always on Willis' heels and I don't buy that anymore.

hat or no hat.....you know White got way too much hype.

While I agree with you the Benson hasn't exactly been a spectacular back, I can't say I've ever heard him get the credit of being one. Don't think he gets too much credit; he's always been overshadowed over there by Palmer, Ocho, TO, and now Dalton and Green.

Does an argument even need to be made for Tebow? I don't think so.

I really like Dez, and I think he'll only get better, but he disappears in the 4th quarter of games. Not sure if that's more on him or Romo. He needs to be fed the ball, especially in the fourth. Defenders, let alone ones that are gassed, don't want to try and bring him down.

maybe, maybe not, maybe fuck yourself

I don't think Alphaebet is overrated. If you ask a guy not to do what he excels doing then that is a coaching/scheme problem. He is a great man CB.....a good zone CB.
